IM Anastasia Bodnaruk wins Queens Wednesday for the second time

IM Anastasia Bodnaruk has once again asserted her dominance in the Swiss Queens Wednesday Chess Tournament by emerging victorious for the second time at the 10th Queens Wednesday, yesterday at FIDE Online Arena.

With a great score of 8.5/11 points, Bodnaruk secured her title, going head to head with WGM Josefine Heinemann, who matched her score but had inferior tie-breaks. IM Aleksandra Maltsevskaya claimed the bronze position with an 8/11 score in a five-fold tie, rounding out the top contenders.

In recognition of their outstanding achievements, the top performers were awarded as follows:

1st Place: IM Anastasia Bodnaruk with 8.5 points ($300)
2nd Place: WGM Josefine Heinemann with 8.5 points ($250)
3rd Place: IM Aleksandra Maltsevskaya with 8 points ($200)
4th Place: GM Alexandra Kosteniuk with 8 points ($150)
5th Place: IM Mai Narva with 8 points ($100)
