There is nothing better than seeing a chess power couple! Hikaru Nakamura is currently World No.2, five-time US Champion, winner of the 2023 Norway Chess Tournament, a Bullet Chess Champion, and the biggest chess streamer in the world! WGM Atousa Pourkashiyan is a seven-time Iranian women’s champion and a record holder among Iranian women chess players.
These two amazing individuals gave vows of love as they got married recently. The couple keeps their private life private, but Atousa chose to announce their happy bond with a warm photo on Instagram! Nakamura also confirmed the news in a comment to a Reddit post quoting American billionaire Warren Buffett.
As Warren would say, “Marry the right person. I’m serious about that. It will make more difference in your life. It will change your aspirations, all kinds of things.”
