The FIDE Chess.com Women's Grand Swiss is an 11-round Swiss tournament taking place from 27 October to 7 November 2021 in Riga, Latvia. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. The winner qualifies for the 2022 FIDE Women’s Candidatates.

This year the inaugural Women's Grand Swiss will be played as well, bringing together the top 50 women players from 26 federations. The field is led by the former European Women's Champion and currently ranked fifth women's player in the world, Kateryna Lagno. She is joined by Mariya Muzychuk, Alexandra Kosteniuk and Nana Dzagnidze, from the women’s top-10 list. The average rating of players in the Women's tournament is 2417.

The FIDE Grand Swiss takes place in Riga, Latvia. The 2019 tournament was held in Douglas, the capital of the Isle of Man, a British dependency. The 2021 tournament was originally scheduled to be played there as well, but was moved "due to the strict COVID-19 restrictions still in place in the Isle of Man and the UK," according to FIDE. The change of location did not affect the dates and format of the 2021 event.
