The Harvard Chess Club is organized to promote the game of chess at Harvard University by holding regular meetings, the organization of tournaments, teaching chess in local schools, and sending teams to major intercollegiate and amateur tournaments. It's an open membership club and everyone is invited to join. The club organizes events for Harvard university students as well as chess fans from the Boston area.
