The NFL superstar was so impressed with chess that on January the 7th, he couldn’t stop tweeting about it!

Youtuber Levy Rozman, known as Gothamchess, didn’t leave this opportunity pass and replied to Bell in one of his tweets, joking that he is the guy who designed chess! Bell replied that he is not sure Levy designed it, but he watches his videos on youtube all the time!

Gothamchess has emphasized lately the rise of chess, saying that according to YouTube Analytics, his videos were recommended to people 5.5 BILLION times in 2021.

Taking into account that the Queen’s Gambit is Netflix’s most-watched scripted limited series to date, with 62 million households having watched it in its first month, and the 2021 World Championship being the most viewed Championship of all time, chess is definitely entering a new era.
