Gothamchess’s new book made it to No.1 on Amazon’s best-seller lists

IM Levy Rozman, also known as Gothamchess, is on the verge of releasing his inaugural chess book in a matter of months. Remarkably, the book has already garnered sales exceeding 12,000 copies and achieved the distinguished accolade of topping Amazon’s best-seller rankings.

IM Levy Rozman, widely recognized by his online pseudonym “GothamChess” or else “The Internet’s Chess Teacher” is a prominent figure in the world of chess content creation and education. Known for his engaging and often humorous style, Rozman has amassed a significant following on platforms like YouTube (4.08M subscribers) and Twitch (1M subscribers).

Rozman’s content primarily revolves around creating instructional videos, analysis of famous games, chess tactics, and strategy breakdowns. His forthcoming book, titled “How to Win at Chess: The Ultimate Guide for Beginners and Beyond” is scheduled for release on October 24. Remarkably, even with more than two months remaining before its official launch, the book has already garnered sales exceeding 12,000 copies.

Presently, the recently introduced book holds the 2nd position on Amazon’s Best Seller Rank within the chess category, with Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess occupying the lead. Furthermore, the book holds the 6th position among publications categorized under Board Games books and secures the 12th spot within the “Puzzle & Game Reference” genre. Notably, the book had previously achieved the top ranking in the first two aforementioned categories.

“It is pretty incredible! I had no idea what to expect when I launched the pre-orders. I am really happy where it currently stands and excited to see where the book goes from here,” Rozman told Chess.com.

And it is indeed incredible!
