GM Alexandra Kosteniuk has once again proven her dominance in the Queens Wednesday Tournament Series by clinching her 10th victory in the 31st edition. With a flawless score of 10.5/11, Kosteniuk continues to be a formidable force, securing her place as the most successful player in the Series’ history. This victory marks her 18th appearance in the top five, bringing her total winnings to an impressive $4,500.

IM Rout Padmini also delivered a stellar performance, following up on her first-place finish in the previous tournament by claiming a clear second place with a score of 8.5/11. Padmini’s consistent excellence underscores her growing reputation in the Series.

The battle for third to fifth place was tightly contested, with IM Le Thao Nguyen Pham, WIM Trisha Kanyamarala, and IM Natalia Buksa all finishing with a score of 7.5/11.
